With his children and Truly, the daughter of a sweets tycoon, he goes on a picnic and tells them of the adventures of himself and the car. On returning home, Potts is able to propose to Truly as her father has accepted one of his inventions. Based on a collection of short stories by Ian Fleming. (Synopsis)
